MY CHRISTMAS WISHLIST 2019-25 DAYS OF BLOGMAS 2019|DAY 16

Hey guys! Welcome to day 16 of Blogmas! Today, I thought it’d be fun if I showed you guys what I’m asking for this Christmas. So let’s get into it!

What I want for Christmas

Appearing very high on the list of things I want for Christmas is a bike. When my family and I moved, the bikes were left behind because they couldn’t fit in the pods. Getting a new bike for Christmas would be awesome!!

Guys, this would probably be one of the things I NEED for Christmas. Last year, when I was running in to my piano lessons, I dropped my phone. It cracked really badly and eventually, it started getting black splotches on the screen. Basically, my phone was unusable. Thankfully however, my parents graciously got me a new one a couple months ago, but every time I drop it, it is very stressful. So, that’s why I NEED a screen protector. 😀

A diary. At first, I asked for it, because after reading the Diary of Anne Frank, I thought that (just maybe) one day I could get famous, XD. The truth is, I also love writing and chronicling – thus this blog. But it’s also so rewarding to snuggle up with a traditional diary and be completely transparent with myself.

I asked for an electric toothbrush for Christmas because… well, why not? XD

Honestly, I want these Beats so much I actually feel that I need it. I know they’re pretty expensive, but they’ll last a very long time. And I need headphones anyways for school so why not get the best? We’ll see what my parents think of this reasoning, lol! I’ll report back after Christmas 🙂

And finally, the last thing I would really appreciate this Christmas, is this poetry book. It was written by my favorite YouTuber, Annie Rose. Basically, I heard her read one poem at her TedX talk, and I knew I needed to read the whole thing.

So that’s all for Blogmas Day 16! What do you guys want for Christmas? Do you want any of the same things I do? I’d love to hear from you in the comments! Stay tuned for Blogmas day 17, but until then, Merry Christmas!!

25 DAYS OF BLOGMAS 2019|DAYS 13, 14, +15 (Sorry for not posting!)

Hey guys!

I’m back at last! I am so, so, SO sorry for not posting these last few days. Honestly, I don’t know how I allowed that to happen. For today’s post, I’ll try to make up for the days that I missed. So, let’s get into it!

Days 13, 14, +15

Let’s start with day 13, which was Friday. For most of the day I read my book, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. It’s very interesting, and though I still haven’t finished it, I got pretty far along on Friday. Then I had to prepare Christmas songs for our Youth Group to practice at service on Friday night.

On Friday, I also worked on my hand made Christmas cards! So there’s the Christmas related stuff that I promised! 😉 My card (the one with the gift boxes) is not perfect, but so far I think it looks pretty good.

My little brother, Joel, made the Christmas tree card. I made the gift box card.

Around 6pm on Friday, my family and I left for Youth Service. Afterwards, we ordered some pizza for dinner and watched Heroes of the Faith. I love that Pureflix series SO much! You should totally check it out, very uplifting!

Now, onto day 14, Saturday. There was no early morning prayer at church that day. So after doing a few chores in the morning, the contractor, who is working on our guest bathroom, pulled up at our house in his pick-up truck with his wife. I thought it strange that his wife accompanied him, but she is from our church, and a good friend of my mom. So I guess it’s not so strange.

While they were at our house, I went to Joel’s basketball game, which he won, and then to Jonny’s, which he lost in overtime. I can’t wait till both of my brothers win their games on the same day!

And now for today, Sunday. Church day. Today’s service was literally AwEsOmE!! The praise and worship was pretty good, and the message best of all, was short and spicy!

During fellowship afterwards, a lady from the church we’re renting invited my family and I to attend their Christmas concert. At first, we had no intentions of going, but after getting in my pajamas, it was decided that we’d go to support them. So then, I had to get dressed AGAIN and go to a concert. I’m very glad we went though. The singing was amazing!

So that’s it for today you guys! Again, I’m very sorry for not posting sooner. I’ll try really hard to not let that happen again. I’ll see you all tomorrow, but until then, Merry Christmas!!

25 DAYS OF BLOGMAS 2019|DAY 12 (A VISIT FROM GRANDMA)

Hey guys!

How was your day? Good? Awsome! Today my Grandma came for a visit… on her birthday! So, let’s get into this post.

Day 12

This morning when I woke up, the moon was still out LOL 😂. I’m not even joking when I say that. But, even though it was still practically nighttime, I had to study my verses for Bible Quizzing.

After I finished my quizzing work, I fell right back to sleep. A little later as I was having some breakfast, my Grandma’s car pulled up in the driveway! 😆

Today was Grandma’s birthday! When she first arrived, we greeted her with a hug, and straightaway got to doing chores. My grandma loves to cook when she visits, so the kitchen had to be in mint condition.

Grandma cooked, we ate, hung out, and had a really great day with her.

Sadly, after Grandma had sold some bows for her sister to my mom’s friend, it was time for her to leave. I begged her to spend the night, but, with work in the morning, she wasn’t able to stay. I’m really looking forward to seeing my Grandma again on Christmas!

So that’s all for today guys! Tomorrow, I’ll post pictures of our handmade Christmas cards. But until then, Merry Christmas!!!

25 DAYS OF BLOGMAS 2019|DAY 11

Hey guys!

Day 11 of Blogmas is here! 14 more days until Christmas 😆!! But, let’s get into today’s post!

Day 11

Today, for me, was a rest day. Last night I was up late working so hard on my projects that today we took a break. I did, however, read some of this book called The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. From the little I’ve read so far, I’m loving it!

I also did a little bit of my hair, but the rest will get done another day. XD

Also, my friend Delanie came to our house today! She comes every Wednesday after school, so we can drive straight to Bible Quizzing and Bible Study with her. Sometimes though, we swing by her house to pick up her little brother as well. 😀

Before coming home my family and I stopped at the supermarket to get what I call, “nacho material” LOL. We came home and guys, I made nachos! They were pretty good too. 😉

So, that’s all I have for you today guys. I’m really excited about tomorrow, so read Blogmas Day 12 to find out why, but until then, Merry Christmas!

25 DAYS OF BLOGMAS 2019|DAY 10

Hey, hey, hey guys!

Day 10 of Blogmas is here!! That means there are only 15 days until Christmas! The days are literally flying by so fast! But I’m really enjoying recording the memories of each day during blogmas. Let’s get into this post!

Day 10

For most of the day today, my Mom and I submitted my progress reports into the computer to send off to the Abeka Academy. I needed to complete a few things, so I literally completed my research paper, and finished up my science experiment in one day. (Don’t try that at home LOL)

But besides that, something really exciting happened. My package for my “Secret Noel” came in the mail today!!

I was so excited bringing in the package, that I skipped all the way back inside the house. I know, I have a bad case of the Christmas fever 😂

I tried wrapping this gift, and guys, it was terrible. The gift was not a perfect square shape, so I’m not even trying to be modest here XD. My little brother Joel was even making fun of my wrapping skills, so after struggling through 2 layers of wrapping paper to create a proper shape, my mom came and helped me wrap the last layer. It turned out pretty good, that last layer looks the best.

Yes, I took an ornament from the tree for that shot. 😂

There are a couple reasons I’m not worried about the 3 layers of wrapping on this gift: 1. I wanted the gift to have a nice shape, so I had to do it. 2. I’m going to enjoy watching my ‘Secret Noel’ unwrap 3 layers of wrapping paper on Christmas day, hehe.

Thank you guys so much for reading today’s post! I hope you enjoyed! What you think of the last layer’s wrapping. I’ll see you all tomorrow, but until then, Merry ChRiStMaS!!!

25 DAYS OF BLOGMAS 2019|DAY 9

Hey guys!

Today I’d say was a pretty productive day. Only 16 days till ChRiStMaS!!!

Day 9

This morning I woke up to have my devotions and breakfast. On the menu for breakfast for today was Eggo waffles, one of my favorite breakfast foods. I love those waffles so much *looking at Eggos with dreamy eyes*

After breakfast, my 2 brothers went outside to play basketball, but my mom and I hung out inside. Though I did not go out today, it was actually pretty nice weather!

My brothers came in from outside and freshened up to go to club fit. My Mom’s friend from our church had offered to take them to play basketball at the gym. Of course, my brothers were psyched and hurriedly got ready to go.

When my brothers left, it was just my mom and me again. We got some work done and watched a Christmas movie for a break after we had finished taking care of some things.

My brothers and my dad eventually came home so we made dinner, and then Jonny was off again, this time to his basketball practice.

And that’s pretty much it for the day guys! Yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed! If you did, let me know what you think of Blogmas so far in the comments! I’ll see you all tomorrow, but until then, Merry Christmas!

25 DAYS OF BLOGMAS 2019|DAY 8

Happy Sunday guys!

Today was a church day, so I spent most of my day there. I had a great time meeting up with family and friends.

Day 8

This morning I woke up around 8 to get ready for church. I also have some “church chores” which includes wrapping the utensils, and packing crates to take with us to church, so I also got to that.

Today was an AMAZING service! The praise and worship was great and the message came directly from God.

I love the decor at the church! The fellowship hall was great too, but I didn’t get any pictures.

After service, we had fellowship with the congregation, broke down the equipment, and headed out.

Before we went home, my family and I stopped at the supermarket to get some ingredients for our dinner. My dad made some amazing Italian sausage and peppers when we came home. One of my favorite dishes!

After dinner, my family and I enjoyed some family time together while drinking eggnog.

But anyways, that’s about it for today you guys! I hope you enjoyed hearing about my Sunday! I’ll be back with another post tomorrow, but until then, Merry Christmas!

25 DAYS OF BLOGMAS 2019|DAY 7 (Basketball Games and Christmas parades)

Hey guys!

How was your day? Good? That’s great! Today was a pretty loaded day for me, so let’s get straight into the post!

Day 7

Today started off with our weekly Saturday morning prayer at the church. It was a very powerful session and the presence of God was definitely felt.

After prayer, my family and I went to McDonalds to get some McGriddles and hot chocolate for breakfast. Anybody else a serious McGriddle fan? Yum.

We came home after eating breakfast to get some work done. But, there’s nothing very exciting about that so I won’t get into details.

Soon after finishing up some work, my family and I went to my brothers’ first basketball games of the season! I watched Jonny’s game with my Dad while my Mom watched Joel’s game. Sadly, both games were at the same time so I couldn’t watch both my brothers play.

Jonny won his game today against a really tough team, which we’re very excited about! Sadly though, Joel lost his. He’s really good though, so hopefully his team will win next time.

Here’s Jonny’s team getting ready for the jump-ball

We came home right after the games to get ready for the Christmas parade and tree lighting in our town! We’ve never actually gone before so my brothers and I were really excited for the opportunity.

It took us about 15 minutes to get there and we had to walk a long way after we parked, but it was totally worth it. The parade was amazing!!

When the parade was almost done, my Dad got pretty cold so we went to the car to warm up for 20 minutes. We got out the car to go see the tree lighting, only to find out that we had missed it! I was really disappointed, but the amazingness of the parade was definitely enough to make up for it.

Thanks for reading today’s post guys! I really hope you enjoyed! If you did, be sure to leave a like and follow this blog for more posts like these. I’ll see you all tomorrow, but until then, Merry Christmas!
