NYMD District Conference Blog!-Part 3

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!! I hope you had a great time celebrating America’s independence with your family and friends on this special day! I spent the day at my grandparents’ barbecue… which is why this blog is a little late.

Today is the last day of NYMD District Conference. I had so much fun and I hope you guys have enjoyed all the previous blogs on this trip!

It is now officially time to get into part 3 of this blog, so let’s go!

Again, we didn’t stay at the hotel, but guys, I have astounding news for you. We were actually…early!

Yes, you read that right.

It was a different kind of feeling arriving early. A feeling of… how do you describe it?–calmness. (I’m sure you guys think I’m crazy now, lol)

My Dad, Jonny, and I, were literally so early that we had the opportunity to have breakfast with all the ministers and other pastors; sadly, Joel and Mom couldn’t come, we left the house at 6:30 so we could make it on time. #tired

But anyways, breakfast was awesome!

I know, that is a lot of bacon, but… OK I have no excuse

Jonny and I finished breakfast pretty quickly, so while our Dad was in a meeting, we went to another floor to sing songs, talk, and wave at people below us and in the elevator, LOL!

So it is finally time for our music session and guys, guess what? I played the bass guitar. For the first time EVER touching it in my entire life! But more importantly, it actually sounded good. If you don’t believe me, you can ask my brother.

So sorry for the really bad quality

Also guys, have you ever heard of the number system for church music? Even though I already play the piano, I learned to play by the number system also! It was surprisingly easy and I’m looking forward to using it to further enhance my music.

The music session was over, lunch was not ready yet, and our Dad was still doing ministry stuff. So what did we do? Sing some more songs, talk some more, and wave at more people below us and in the elevator XD.

It is officially time to go guys. This conference was so amazing and I was sad it was over but hey, we’ll be going to PLENTY more trips the rest of this year, starting in just three weeks with nationals!

Thank you so much everyone for reading this blog! If you enjoyed, please be sure to like comment and subscribe! Since this is done, we are officially back to our regular posting schedule–Tuesdays, and Thursdays. So then guys, until next Tuesday, stay smart!! 😎👌
