My Daily To-do List

Hey ya’ll, happy day after Memorial Day (if you’re American)!! So glad you could make it to my blog today! Before I move on though, I’d like to ask everyone reading to pause and subscribe to this blog for notifications straight to your phone, or email when there’s a new post. Done? Great! 😜Let’s continue.

For today’s post, I thought it’d be cool to show you guys my everyday to-do list as a homeschooled kid. Usually my day ends around 9 o’clock when I go to bed. (I’ll do another post on my nighttime routine hopefully in the near future)

OK, let’s get into it!!

Bible Reading

The first thing I do when I wake up is to read my bible. Ya know, to start my day off on the right note. Most of the time, I use the “YouVersion App” on my phone to do a bible plan, or just read straight from my physical bible. Every morning I resist the urge to reach for my phone first thing, argh *sighs*! It’s totally a discipline I’m still working on. I don’t ever want to put my phone before my devotion. Comment and let me know if you struggle with that also.

I pray after reading my Bible because after reading, your prayer can kinda piggy back off what you learned. That way, you can pray for a bit longer and spend more time with Jesus.

Study Bible Quizzing

Bible Quizzing, is a HUGE part of my life, as you probably know if you’ve been on my blog for any amount of time. Which is why I do it first thing in the morning, so I make sure it actually gets done. Also, if for some reason I don’t finish in the morning, I have plenty of time throughout the day to do it.

Exercising is also very important to me. I used to not be very consistent, but after doing my Health classes I was motivated to start back up again. Exercising helps me feel energized and confident. It also helps that I know all the amazing health benefits of it.

Do school (specifics for another post )

The pressure for school is on now since I’m in ninth grade, the final scores I get will ultimately determine what college I get into, therefore deciding what job I get, which can either destroy my life or make me extremely prolific. No pressure, right? Hehe.πŸ˜‘

Do homework

Homework. Homework. Homework. Homework. Homeschooled with homework. (be sure to check out that post by the way). I try very hard to finish up my homework fairly quickly so I can get to other things like: editing posts, practicing piano, and watching basketball. Yes, another NBA fan! (Let’s go Celtics!!!!!!!!!!!)

And that’s about it!!

Thanks so much for reading today’s post ya’ll!! What’s your daily to-do list? Leave a comment! Also, be sure to like and subscribe!! Once again, I hope you enjoyed this post and until Thursday, stay smart!πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘Œ

  1. Thanks, Ariana! It’s awesome that you get to do that intense exercise plan!β€”You have no idea how long it took us to muster up some courage to go walking, LOL! Sounds like you have a great daily to-do list going 😜 Thanks for commenting! ❀️

  2. Great job! I exercise, (we’re on a new, very hard, plan! So we are doing it every other day for the first week), it’s called Brute Force if you’re interested. πŸ˜€ So we do that, I blog every day, journal, something crafty, and eat something healthy. πŸ˜›

  3. That sounds cool! Abeka is like a private school at home and online so we pretty much have the same thing! Hope you enjoy your summer vacation!! 😜

  4. I’m a part of California Virtual Academy (CAVA for short). It’s an online homeschool program through k12. Pretty much, it’s public school at home and online. So, I have online classes with others students and certified teachers. We have to do State Testing, too. I’ve been a part of CAVA all my life and it’s pretty fun! 😊

  5. Hi, Heaven! Thank you!! For what kind of homeschool we’re doing, at the moment my brothers and I use Abeka video streaming. You’re an early riser by the way, 2 A.M.?? Wow! Well they do say, successful people rise early! Thanks so much for leaving a comment, Heaven!!

  6. Awesome post, Elizabeth! My schedule is some-what like yours. I do my devotional time (reading & studying my Bible, sometimes going through a plan from that I print off, and I pray) sometimes at 5:00 A.M. or 2:00 A.M., get myself ready, eat breakfast, and then do school until about 3 or 4. It really depends on how many assignments I have for the day or if I have any large projects due (such as essays). What kind of homeschooling do you do? 😊
