Hey guys!! It has been a while since I posted. I am SO very sorry about that. We had this Bible Quizzing practice match coming up that we were preparing for. (Why are we preparing for a practice? Not even I know, lol!!!) I’m thinking about making a posting schedule to avoid my ‘sometimes’ infrequent posting. What do you think? Leave a comment!
I’d like to apologize up front for the lack of pictures. Sadly, there was never a perfect time to take one. 😔 To make up for it though, you can try to imagine you were there! Or you can enjoy this picture of me at one of my old matches.
So we just had a New York Metro District (NYMD) Bible Quizzing practice match in Queens. (If you’re new here, be sure to check out my previous Bible Quizzing posts tagged bible quizzing)
We were a bit tired because we were out late at a Prayer Conference the night before, we didn’t get home until after 1 am. But that didn’t stop us! We were going to quiz to win!…Lord willing. 😉
We started quizzing soon after we got there, but surprisingly, only one other team showed up. That meant that we quizzed them over, and over, and over, and over and….OK, you get the point.
At first, we took it a little easy, skipping a few questions here and there; but on our last two quizzes, we decided to have a little fun with aggressive quizzing. 😜 And did we have fun!
Thankfully, we won all of our regular matches for the day and figured that we should try something a little different. (You’ll see what I mean by regular in a little bit…)
On the other team that we had been quizzing ALL DAY, there were two girls. Counting me, there were three girls, the perfect amount for a team. Also, including my brother, there were three boys. So guess what I suggested. Yup, you know it, BOYS AGAINST GIRLS!!!!
That was probably the most fun game we had. Mostly because I was competing against my brother. (The sibling rivalry will never cease)
Since I knew all of my brother’s weaknesses, and we saw that the other boys didn’t really buzz, the girls destroyed the boys. By like, a LOT! Of course I’m still rubbing it in my brother’s face. 😏
Our NYMD Bible Quizzing practice was a great experience on true teamwork for all of us, especially when we were placed on different teams, we still pulled together and supported each other.
Thanks for reading today’s post! Remember to leave a comment about a posting schedule! Also, be sure to like, and subscribe. That’s all I’ve got for today, so until next time, stay smart. 😎👌
